1860s Burgundy Linen Garibaldi Blouse

Popular in the 1860s, the Garibaldi blouse is the precursor to the shirtwaist of the 1890s and also the modern-day blouse! For my own everyday wear recreation, I used burgundy linen with purple undertones. The entire garment is hand stitched, and I used honeycomb smocking at the wrists to create a small, sweet detail.
